Welcome to Awakenings

Life IS history in the making. Every word we say, everything we do becomes history the moment it is said or done. Life void of memories leaves nothing but emptiness. For those who might consider history boring, think again: It is who we are, what we do and why we are here. We are certainly individuals in our thoughts and deeds but we all germinated from seeds planted long, long ago.

Sizzlin' on the Charts

When something is really great, it is often referred to as been "hot". Not from the sense of being burning to the touch but burning in the desire for more, more, more, especially within the sound of music. When a song hits the top of the charts, it seems we cannot listen to it enough...over, over and over again without tiring one bit of the rhythm, melody or the words. In fact, for many songs, the burn remains even when the flame of being No.1 fades. Which of the following still remain "hot" on your list after all these years?

Sizzlin' On this day, December 7,  in Music history...
